The Founder

Nancy Craun began her career starting and building Encore Event Partners. She began with creating and coordinating over 100 Blue Ridge/Shenandoah Valley weddings a year. During this time she also produced the Blue Ridge Bride Show, bringing couples and local wedding vendors together under one roof.

In working with those couples, Nancy found that wedding guests needed a one-stop place to learn about the area’s activities and accommodations. She started Go Blue Ridge Travel, expanded with the Virginia Kids Trail and then launched the popular food experience Taste of Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge Bride is her latest addition.

“Bringing people together and sharing the wonders of this beautiful area is my passion. Each website has its own community. Together they show the Blue Ridge/Shenandoah Valley as a great place to visit, marry, raise children, and retire.”

The Editor

Cindie Reinhold creates and manages the content of Blue Ridge Bride. She’s the former owner/publisher of Brides & Weddings of Northern Virginia. While publishing her magazine and website, Cindie founded Women’s Wedding Network and served as site chair for the Association of Wedding Professionals. She’s also an Assistant Coordinator for VP Consulting Events.

“Blue Ridge Bride is my dream assignment. I love writing about the area, previewing the beautiful venues and profiling the people who make the wedding magic. It’s an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day by providing helpful advice and inspiration.”
