Romantic Adventure Bryce Resort

If you’re looking for a Blue Ridge wedding venue, then try a Bryce Resort Romantic Adventure. Enjoy Dinner on the Lake August 17th and preview a beautiful location while sampling delicious food.

Bryce Resort Romantic Adventure

While most folks think of Bryce, located off I-81 near Mt. Jackson, as a mountain resort there’s also beautiful Lake Laura. This tranquil lake offers a grassy beach and a hiking trail around the water. Spend the day cooling off with swimming, paddle boards and paddle boats, kayaks, canoes and tubes.

After a refreshing Saturday at the lake, enjoy a special three-course meal on August 17th. Dinner is served on the dam overlooking Lake Laura while you enjoy a sunset view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Dinner on the Lake

During the summer Bryce Resort hosts a culinary series called “Dinner on the Mountain”. Usually the resort holds them on the mountaintop, but this special evening gives guests a chance to enjoy Bryce’s “hidden gem”. The dam at Lake Laura is a beautiful spot for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

Bryce Resort has partnered with Old Hill Hard Cider for a seafood influenced three-course feast. Because the guest list is limited to 50, this is an exclusive dining experience. The evening starts with a first course of caviar and smoked salmon canapes, shrimp & pineapple skewers, and scallops wrapped in bacon on a bed of couscous.

The seafood bounty continues with a second course of lobster with red potatoes and corn. In other words, it’s a twist on a Maine lobster bake. Or try sliced beef tenderloin strips with mushrooms and onions. End your meal with fresh berries topped with creme fraiche. Dinner service is 6:30 – 8pm and the cost is $75 per person (plus tax & gratuity).
